Solar wind parameters, as measured by the ACE spacecraft, continued to
reflect weak coronal high-speed stream (CH HSS) influence. Wind speeds
remained elevated throughout the period, reaching a peak speed of 599
km/s at 22/1323 UTC. Following a sporadic first half of the period,
speeds gradually began subsiding, falling to an end-of-period speed of
450 km/s. The total interplanetary magnetic field (IMF Bt) remained
fairly steady at +5/+9 nT, with isolated dips to near +1 nT. The Bz
component of the IMF was fairly consistent between -5/+5 nT, ending the
period near -2 nT. The phi angle maintained a predominately positive
(away) orientation, but occasionally oscillated into negative (toward)
territory.
