Solar activity was at moderate levels due to a pair of M-class
(R1-Minor) events observed within the last 24 hours. Both events were
produced by Region 1974 (S12W30, Fkc/beta-gamma-delta). The largest
event was an M2/2f at 14/0257 UTC associated with weak to moderate low
frequency radio emissions. Region 1974 also produced several C-class
events throughout the period. The region indicated trailer spot
consolidation with intermediate and leader spot development for an
overall growth in areal coverage and spot count. Region 1976 (S15E08,
Fhi/beta-gamma) showed some minor intermediate spot development while
Region 1977 (S10E33, Ekc/beta-gamma) indicated some minor intermediate
spot decay. The remainder of the spotted regions were either stable or
in minor decay. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed during the period.
