1 March

Solar activity was low. Region 1993 (N18E22, Dai/beta) produced a C4/Sf
flare at 01/0059 UTC, which was the largest event of the period.
Regions 1990 (S12E20, Dac/beta-delta) and 1991 (S23E34, Eko/beta-gamma)
are the largest and most magnetically complex regions on the disk but
both exhibited a minor decrease in areal extent this period. No
Earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed.
